Gold Crown Holiday Tip off REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR 2026
The 2026 annual Gold Crown Holiday Tip Off is presented by Gold Crown Events, will be Dec. 28, 29, and 30, 2026 in the San Diego area. This is a boys and girls tournament. This is a 3 game tournament. However, teams will have the option to play 4 games if you choose to participate in our pre-tournament "Christmas Crossover Showcase". The showcase will take place on the day after Christmas, Dec 26, 2026. This showcase is optional and will lead into the tournament starting on Dec 27. Registration for both the Showcase and tournament is now open. The tournament fee for varsity is $550 per team if your team participates in the showcase cost is $650. If your team participates in the showcase "only" the cost is $150 for the showcase ONLY. JV tournament fee $360, Novice/Frosh $300 There is no showcase for the JV division. Payment will be due by Dec 1, 2026.
The Gold Crown Holiday: Main Event is one of the largest tournaments on the West Coast hosting more than 50 teams from all over the country. We have multiple divisions for teams to compete against similar competition. All of your gyms are centrally located and close in proximity. Your team will not be driving from gym to gym to play your game. Our gym includes the brand new gym located at LMEC. Which is the newest gym in San Diego.
Teams will have the option to chose which division they would like to compete in. The Elite division will be for teams looking for the highest level of competition. All participating teams that stay overnight must stay in at the host hotel. Teams that are flying in to San Diego must be aware that the last game could start as late as 4pm for your departing flight.
JV and Novice/Frosh divisions are open for both boys and girls. JV and Novice tournament date is Dec. 28, 29 and 30 only. JV, Novice/Frosh teams will have a 3 game guarantee. Cost to participate for Junior Varsity $350, novice/frosh $300. Payments for all divisions can be submitted to:
