Gold Crown Holiday Tip Off Main Event 2025

The 2025 annual Gold Crown Holiday Tip Off: Main Event, presented by Gold Crown Events, will be Dec. 26, 27, 29 and 30, 2025 in the San Diego area. This is a boys and girls tournament. Registration is now open. The tournament fee for varsity is $600 per team, JV $350, Novice/Frosh $300. Payment will be due by Dec 1, 2025. The first day will be on Dec 26, 2025. Due to this day being the day after Christmas this day will be an optional showcase. The Gold Crown Holiday Main Event is one of the largest tournaments on the West Coast hosting more than 60 teams from all over the country. We have multiple divisions for teams to compete against similar competition. All of your gyms are centrally located and close in proximity. Your team will not be driving from gym to gym to play your game.

 

Due to the start date being Dec. 26, 2025,  this tournament is a 3 game guarantee, with the option to play 4 games which will include 1 game Dec 26, (day after Christmas). 

 

Teams will have the option to chose which division they would like to compete in as their will be multiple divisions for similar teams to compete. The Elite division will be for teams looking for the highest level of competition. All participating teams that stay overnight must stay in at the host hotel. Teams that are flying in to San Diego must be aware that the last game could start as late as 6pm for your departing flight.

JV and Novice/Frosh divisions are open for both boys and girls. JV and Novice tournament date is Dec. 27, 29 and 30 only. JV, Novice/Frosh teams will have a 3 - 4 game guarantee. Cost to participate for Junior Varsity $350, novice/frosh $300. Submit Payments to:
